In this morning's matchup against the formidable North Walkden Hawks, the Raptors strategically embraced a defensive stance, prioritizing counterattacks. The team adeptly handled numerous Hawk assaults, but an unfortunate breakthrough at the near post left the Raptors trailing 1-0. Undeterred, the Raptors swiftly equalized as Tommy skillfully struck from inside the box.

Buoyed by this success, the Raptors intensified their offensive efforts. A golden opportunity arose with a penalty awarded for a handball in the box, but the ensuing attempt hit the crossbar, denying them the lead. Hawks capitalized just before halftime, executing a precise play into the box and securing a tip-in goal, heading into the break with a 2-1 lead.

The second half unfolded as a relentless back-and-forth battle. Despite promising breakouts from Coen and Joe, the Raptors couldn't convert chances into goals. A breakdown in communication within the Raptors' defense allowed Hawks to score a third. With five minutes remaining, Felix skillfully placed a ball into the corner of the box, pulling one back for the Raptors.

The entire team demonstrated commendable effort in both defending and launching counterattacks, showcasing their potential for victory on another day. The Parents player of the Match (PPOTM) honors were shared by Noah, Arthur, and Felix, while Coen claimed the well-deserved title of Man of the Match (MOTM) for his hard work and pivotal assist.
