East Leigh were formed in 1986 as a Junior club, which they remained up until 2022 when there were 2 new open age men's teams formed and also an open age Ladies team.

As of 2023/24 season we have 42 teams registered including 3 senior men's teams and 1 senior Ladies team, we also have 3 Inclusion teams.

East Leigh AFC are also very proud to have a boys and a girls academy.

The club are affiliated to the Lancashire FA

Boys teams primarily play on Saturdays in the Bolton and Bury league and Warrington Junior League

Girls teams all play on Sundays in the Bolton and Bury League

We have several local venues for home games to take place
