A tough lesson learned for the boys today in a round robin against North Walkden and Atherton Town.

Game one against North Walkden saw us behind after a couple of errors, only then did we start to get a foothold in the game and start to win some second balls. Chances followed and after some neat play from Connor, Alex slotted home. The lads huffed and puffed but couldn’t get the equaliser they deserved.

After a long break and into our second match the lads struggled to get going with an uncharacteristic lethargic display with the visitors putting us to the sword. The ship was steadied slightly but a tough lesson for the boys to keep those effort levels up.
